Last week, Burberry had a campaign in KLCC to promote the new fragrance - The Beat.

With model Agyness Deyn as its face, The Beat is targeted at the urban and hip crowd and to express a unique personality. The mood of the fragrance is young, modern, energetic, dynamic, expressive, slightly wild, verve and spiritedness ...

The Beat-A floral woody juice, this scent represents rebellion and independence. Ingredients include ceylon tea, pink pepper, cedarwood, bluebell and white musk. The perfume bottle shaped like a hip flask and etched with a Burberry plaid. A little suede tag hanging down with a metal name tag that says Burberry.

DIY Simple Wall Art

I found a few sheets of coloured paper that last time in school days I used it for some art work assignment. Then I proceed to make a really simple & beautiful flower inspire wall art to enhance any wall at home.

Love to eat pizza but how can we eat healthy?

:) It's okie to eat anything that are not healthy every once a while, but try to balance it out.

Try starting off with a healthy salad to help fill you up instead of bread sticks. Then you can try the vegetarian style pizza with thin crust. Avoid pepperoni and salami, order it with vegetables and mushrooms, this will reduce the fat content of the pizza.

If you are still worried about eating unhealthy, you may want to take the cheese off from the pizza. Also, blot the oil with paper towel to remove excess grease. Drink a lot of warm water with pizza - No Carbonated drinks!

Canadian 2For1 Pizza is offering buy one get one free pizza! It's a great deal. Tonight we ordered a regular Hawaiian Lover's pizza and a regular Meat Lover pizza. Being our first time ordering, we received a complementary set of garlic bread :)

There pizza toppings came on very generously and is a sure value for money.

Both pizzas we ordered are pan crust and is not thick and doughy, but is light, crunchy and buttery taste. This is the first time I'm eating Canadian 2For1 Pizza. After tonight's dinner, I think I will never order pizza from Pizza Hut and Dominos Pizza anymore. It shows how good is Canadian 2For1 Pizza is!

Late lunch

After 3 hours of walking in Perdana Lake Gardens, Darren & I were both exhausted. We decided to head back to Pee Jay for a late lunch ( 3.15pm) . At this hour we can only either go to a mamak stall or cafe coz most of the coffee shops are closing by then . We decided to try out a newly opened cafe in SS2 call Old Taste Cafe. And I tell you, this will be my first and my last time to eat at this cafe! I bet you will agree with me after your first visit.

We ordered :

The service was fast and attentive. The fried rice turned out to be cold, it's not hot neither warm at all. I suppose the fried rice was pre-cooked that's why they can serve it in a jiffy. The Chicken porridge was bland, watery and it's oily because of the ikan bilis and fried tofu cubes. If you don't believe just click to enlarge the image, you can see the amount of oil floating on top. First time I see porridge that oily.

As for the drink - white coffee with coffee jelly, I would say the taste is ok, nothing special.

I was thinking, the cafe should be called Odd Taste Cafe instead of Old Taste Cafe :)

The Malaysia International Landscape & Garden Festival 2008

Afternoon went for the Landscape & Garden Festival at Perdana Lake Gardens. This event is a premier outdoor garden festival display and present floral enclave, environmental art, garden showcase, and garden expo.

The garden expo is suppose to display and sell plants, garden products & accessories, outdoor furniture and play equipments. But when i reach there isn't many booth displaying garden related stuff. Mainly is food stall, and some they even sell clothes & fashion jewelry!!! To me this is like a flea market :)

Before we leave, went to have a look at the floral enclave. It's a temperature controlled indoor space to display theme showcase, international showcase, pedestal lot and floral sculpture.

Didn't want to show much pic as it's nothing to shout about. Not that flower arrangement are bad but could be better.

The only art piece that caught my attention that I feel worth highlighting is the Lady In Red. She is wearing a long leaves-trim gown and with red roses detailing.

Why do I blog?

Right after I setup this blog, my boy friend asked "Why do you blog"?

My answer is I want to do some soul searching and a little confessing on my blog. Sometime people and things piss me off and I can’t tell others. Over here allow me to express my feeling and thoughts at the same time I won’t get involve with anyone to argue who is right or wrong.

I think that’s the joy in being a blogger.
