Tien Pin Mee Pok

Mee Pok is a type of Teow Chew dish and is usually served tossed in oil from frying lard ( chu yuo zha ). It is a staple offering in hawker centers and coffee shops in Singapore.

Dry Mee Pok with chili RM5
A bowl of home make fish ball with home make fish cake served together with the noodle

The sauce that tossed in is very important for ensuring good smooth texture in the noodles.

Fried Chu Cheong Fun RM 3.50
Is one of those ordinary fried chu cheong fun you can get in a Dim Sum restaurant.

Mini Dumpling RM6
Nothing spectacular

The presentation of the Mee Pok might look very simple but it is delicious and very fragrant. Every single strand of noodles are coated with the oil from the frying lard which is the most essential part of the dish. One minor setback is the noodle is a bit soggy. Home make fish ball and fish cake were good. You can taste the fishball made from fresh fish and you taste more fish than flour.
