Octopus ball: Tako Tao

After one and the half hours of window shopping in Mid Valley, it's time for some snack! We headed to Jaya Jusco superket at lower ground for Tako Tao octopus ball.

The octopus ball are made with an egg batter base. It's golden and crispy outside and inside is soft and moist. It's topped with Japanese barbeque sauce, mayonnaise, nori (seaweed) and sprinkled with dried bonito flakes, them seem to 'dance' on the Tako Tao.

First they put a flour mixture into a special hot plate. Then they add the octopus. As it cooks, they flip it and make it into balls.

RM4.50 for 3 Tako Tao
It tastes best when hot, but have to be careful though it's hot!
